Nature’s Grand
Maduxx Inc. collaborated with LIV Communities to create an innovative suite of interactive applications for Nature's Grand, a large-scale real estate development in Brantford overlooking the Grand River. This project involved developing three custom applications, each designed to provide a unique, immersive experience for prospective buyers and effectively showcase the community’s offerings.
The touchscreen application served as an essential tool for exploring each home model in detail. Users could rotate and interact with 3D models of the homes, examining each design from various angles. Inside the application, we included virtual colour boards, allowing potential buyers to experiment with different finishes, as well as a floor plan comparison tool to review and contrast layouts.
The interactive digital site plan table application featured a live, top-down 3D site plan of the entire community, complete with dynamic elements such as moving water in the river, swaying trees, and animated birds, cars, and clouds to bring the scene to life. Controlled via tablet, the application allowed users to zoom in on individual lots, check availability, and explore specific details for each property.
The 10km virtual exploration application was an ambitious one, allowing users to explore a vast area surrounding the development, with the freedom to “fly over” or walk through the site and its surroundings in a first-person view. Visitors could tour local landmarks, walk the bridge, and traverse nearby trails, complete with interactive fun facts along the way. Adding to the realism, the environment included hopping bunnies, fish, and deer, creating a lifelike and engaging virtual experience. Users could explore neighbouring attractions like the golf course, farmland, and even a small airport, using a game controller to navigate. This application was particularly challenging, as it required transforming the entire site and nearby landmarks into a detailed 3D game-like environment.
Maduxx Inc. also produced a range of supplementary assets, including a two-minute animated video projected on a large screen display in the sales centre, more than 175 individual 3D renderings, interior walkthroughs, and sales centre renderings.
Finally, we offered ongoing support by updating site plans and product information for future releases, ensuring the applications remained accurate and relevant.
